FDA Food safety modernization act

AMERICAN FOOD SAFETY SERVICES, in North Branch, NJ, was the 1st Training Center in the NY, NJ, CT, & PA area accredited by the FDA to offer their official Food Safety "PREVENTIVE CONTROLS for Human Food QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL" training. This training is needed to comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) of 2011. We help food, beverage, packaging, distribution companies meet complex regulatory & best practice standards needed to grow business.

AMERICAN FOOD SAFETY SERVICES has been a recognized provider of food safety services to the U.S. food industry and its supply chain partners for more than 10 years.  Dr. Larry Hood is licensed by the  Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI) as an SQF Trainer and SQF Consultant; is a Lead Instructor for the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA), and Lead Instructor for the International HACCP Alliance (IHA) to teach HACCP, Advanced HACCP & Juice HACCP, and we are the original recognized SQF Training and Consulting Center in NJ. 

American Food Safety Services was founded by and is under the leadership of Dr. Larry L. Hood. We assist companies comply with regulatory and 3rd party reguirements such as:
